‘The Kiss of Life: Utility Worker Saves Electrocuted Co-Worker, 1967

Rocco Morabito captured ‘The Kiss of Life’ in 1967. This is a photo of J.D. Thompson reviving his fellow worker, Randall G. Champion, using mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Champion was working on a telephone line when he was electrocuted. A quick response by Thompson ensued, and passing by that moment was Rocco Morabito who snapped a picture of the rescue operation in one frame.
