Reunited brothers by the East-West Berlin Wall

When the Berlin Wall was constructed in 1961, even children were not allowed to travel irrespective of the purpose. You entered the eastern side and were made to remain there. In 1963, this circumscribed pass agreement allowed the west Berliner’s to go to the east side therefore providing some consolation to the shock. Families were reunited after decades apart, but the wall persisted for another quarter of a century.
