June 6th, 1944- Into the Jaws of Death

On June 6, 1944, American, English, and Canadian forces were able to walk into the beaches to take back the beaches from the German army. Most knew they wouldn’t return, so most entered blindly. Captain Tom Jensen told the Chicago Tribune much about the mission of the 626th Engineer Light Equipment Company on this day.
